  • PSG determined to sign Osimhen
  • Submitted double bid for Napoli duo
  • Unlikely to match Osimhen's release clause
  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Corriere dello Sport reported last week that the Ligue 1 champions have tabled a massive €200 million (£168m/$217m) double bid for Napoli stars Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. While Serie A giants are unlikely to part ways with the Georgian winger, they could consider selling the Nigeria international if the French side decide to match his €130m (£109m/$141m) release clause.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Now L’Équipe claims that PSG are determined to sign Osimhen this summer, however, they are unlikely to match the player's release clause. Instead, they would try and convince The Blues to lower their demand for the 25-year-old attacker.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Kvaratskhelia was linked with a move away from the Serie A club earlier this summer, however, things have changed now as new manager Antonio Conte made it clear that he wants the Georgian to continue. The player's agent Mamuka Jugeli recently hinted that the forward would stay in Naples and try and win the Scudetto again.
