Dwight Gayle has scored 10 times in 18 Championship appearances for West Bromwich Albion during the 2018-19 campaign.
The 28-year-old, who is on loan from Newcastle United, has proved to be an excellent signing for the Baggies.
Gayle has largely struggled to make his mark at Premier League level, but there is certainly an argument that he would be a better bet for Newcastle than Joselu, who has not found the back of the net in the league since August.
It will certainly be interesting to see what happens with Gayle at the end of the season, particularly if West Brom are promoted back to the top flight.
Newcastle’s official Twitter account recently pointed out just how well Gayle was performing whilst out on loan, and that led to a number of the club’s supporters offering their views on the situation.
